Tell Governor Andrew Cuomo to avoid budget cuts that will hurt struggling New Yorkers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit our community hard, and many of our neighbors are struggling just to afford basic necessities to keep their families safe.  Surveys conducted by the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative found that one-third of our neighbors could not pay their rent or mortgage and one-quarter were worried about how to catch up on housing and other bills.

The deep budget cuts being considered by Governor Andrew Cuomo would only make it more difficult for them to keep their heads above water.

We need you to help us demand that the state:

  1. SAY NO!  Reject across-the-board budget cuts that hurt families.

  2. SAY YES! Find new sources of revenue to help families.

  3. ACT NOW! Struggling families cannot wait.
